TrapTox
Trapezius softening for a longer neck line and shoulder tension when the muscle is the problem.

Overview
What is trap tox?
Trap Tox is performed with Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, or Xeomin — we choose the product for your anatomy, history, and how you want to move. An overactive trapezius can bulk the shoulder–neck line and hold tension. Softening it can lengthen the neck appearance and ease that load when the muscle is the problem.
This is mapped to this area rather than a full-face default. The goal is a specific change, not a frozen face.

Why patients choose it
Key benefits
- A slimmer shoulder–neck line and less trap tension when the muscle is overactive
- Quick visit with little to no downtime
- Results typically settle over 3–14 days and last about three to four months
- Can be combined with other wrinkle-relaxer or filler work when the plan calls for it

Areas & what to expect
This treatment
The upper trapezius, mapped to your posture and how you carry tension. This is not a substitute for physical therapy or a workup when pain needs another specialist.
Your visit
Your provider reviews goals and movement, then maps injection points before cleansing the skin. Small amounts are placed with a fine needle; most visits take 15–20 minutes.
Avoid rubbing or lying flat for several hours, and skip strenuous exercise the rest of the day. We typically see you back around two weeks if a refinement is needed.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about this treatment — your provider will cover anything specific to you at consultation.
How is trap tox different from a regular Botox visit?
This is a larger postural muscle, not a forehead map. Dosing and follow-up are different, and we will refer if pain needs another specialist.
How long does it last?
Most patients see about three to four months of effect. Consistent treatment makes maintenance more predictable; it does not make results permanent.
Will I look frozen?
Not if we dose for this area and your movement. We preserve expression on purpose and would rather add units at a two-week follow-up than overdo the first visit.
