Hyperhidrosis
Neuromodulator treatment for excessive sweating in mapped areas such as underarms, when it is clinically appropriate.

Overview
What is hyperhidrosis treatment?
Hyperhidrosis is performed with Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, or Xeomin — we choose the product for your anatomy, history, and how you want to move. Neuromodulators can reduce excessive sweating in mapped areas such as the underarms by blocking the signal to sweat glands.
This is mapped to this area rather than a full-face default. The goal is a specific change, not a frozen face.

Why patients choose it
Key benefits
- Fewer soaked shirts and less daily management when sweating is out of proportion
- Quick visit with little to no downtime
- Results typically settle over 3–14 days and last about three to four months
- Can be combined with other wrinkle-relaxer or filler work when the plan calls for it

Areas & what to expect
This treatment
Underarms are the most common site. Other areas are discussed only when they are appropriate for this class of treatment.
Your visit
Your provider reviews goals and movement, then maps injection points before cleansing the skin. Small amounts are placed with a fine needle; most visits take 15–20 minutes.
Avoid rubbing or lying flat for several hours, and skip strenuous exercise the rest of the day. We typically see you back around two weeks if a refinement is needed.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about this treatment — your provider will cover anything specific to you at consultation.
How is hyperhidrosis treatment different from a regular Botox visit?
The medication is related, but the map is sweat glands, not expression lines. Coverage and insurance conversations are different from cosmetic forehead work.
How long does it last?
Most patients see about three to four months of effect. Consistent treatment makes maintenance more predictable; it does not make results permanent.
Will I look frozen?
Not if we dose for this area and your movement. We preserve expression on purpose and would rather add units at a two-week follow-up than overdo the first visit.
