PRFM
Platelet-rich fibrin matrix for a longer-acting regenerative skin treatment, with or without needling.

Overview
What is PRFM?
PRFM (platelet-rich fibrin matrix) is a related preparation to PRP. It forms a fibrin scaffold so growth factors may be released more gradually — useful when we want a longer-acting regenerative step.
It can be used on its own or with microneedling, depending on the skin plan.

Why patients choose it
Key benefits
- A more structured platelet preparation than standard PRP
- Supports tone, texture, and recovery
- Pairs with needling when channels help delivery
- Cumulative results over a series

Areas & what to expect
Treatable areas
Face, neck, and décolleté, and other sites when they are appropriate.
Your visit
Blood is drawn and processed to form the fibrin matrix, then applied or placed per protocol. Redness is typical for 24–48 hours if needling is included.
We set a series and revisit — this is not a one-and-done glow.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about this treatment — your provider will cover anything specific to you at consultation.
How is PRFM different from PRP?
PRFM forms a fibrin matrix, so growth factors may release more slowly. We choose based on the plan, not a brand fight.
Do I need needling with it?
Not always. Needling can help delivery. Standalone PRFM is discussed when that is enough.
Whose blood is it?
Yours. A small draw the same visit.
