HowtoPrepareforYourFirstInjectablesAppointment

ByDr. Nargiz Gasimova· Medical Director· June 27, 2026

Your first neuromodulator or filler appointment should feel informative, not intimidating. A little preparation helps you get the most from the visit.

Before you arrive

  • Share medical history, allergies, and prior treatments openly.

  • Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil for five to seven days if approved by your physician — they can increase bruising.

  • Come with clean skin and reference photos if helpful.

During the visit

Your provider will map injection points, discuss units or syringes, and confirm the plan before treatment begins. Ask questions — there are no wrong ones.

Natural results come from conservative dosing and follow-up, not over-treating in a single session.
